ALGEBRA TUTOR
This picture is of me when I was 17 years old; I was tutoring even then (I remember it was Algebra). I will admit that once I left school, I moved away from tutoring for a while but when I came back to get my degree at community college at age 48, I found math had mostly left my head and I had to start all over again. I went to all my daughter’s friends and ask “What techniques are you using to get straight As?” and happily they shared their tricks and tips with me so that now I can share them with my students. I got my AA in 7 months, my BA in another 1 year and applied to and eventually got accepted into a graduate program, got my MA in Clinical Psychology in 2 ½ more years and moved to the College of Education to get my PhD in a math based research program. I’ve been tutoring in my spare time while teaching various math and research classes in university. I work with all ages and all levels (normal, AP, and IP) tutoring math, pre-algebra, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, Pre-calculus, calculus I & 2 and statistics. Ask my students what they think of my style.

“Awesome! A concept that your average professor would make extremely complicated, he can break it down to his students in a way that makes them confident.”
